If you know Pam and Les you know that they have a flair for the dramatic, are creative souls, deeply care for their family and friends, and can throw one heck of a party! Their destination wedding began with a balcony party on Bourbon Street where their guests were mesmerized with watching Bourbon Street come to life on Halloween weekend. The next day everyone gathered at the Windsor Court for their wedding which was a stunning event complete an emergency evacuation, bag pipes, a traditional New Orleans Second Line, and a dancing skeleton. I think my favorite part of the night would be all of the speeches where we were dazzled by singing, testaments to how Pam and Les have impacted their friends over the years, a lot of laughter...and no one could forget Pam's walk down memory lane with how she met Les and her journal entry from the night of their first date. The last day of their adventure we braved the rain, cancelled Voodoo Fest crowds, and celebrating Saints fans and travelled into the French Quarter and City Park for a post wedding session...driven by a rolls royce of course. Needless to say, it was a tremendous weekend!
Their entire wedding was photographed from a purely documentary stand point and it was an amazing experience that allowed me to capture so many genuine moments and I cannot wait to share them all. Until then, here is a incredibly small sample of the amazing events transpired over the course of their New Orleans wedding!
